New Year’s Eve is all about that little extra….everything. More glitz, more glamour, more coziness and definitely more romance. It’s the one night of the year head to toe sequins are accepted everywhere. Dreaming up my ultimate New Year’s Eve party, I have visions of masquerade balls, low lighting, dancing, romantic whispers and beautiful textures….mostly velvet. Those who set festive dress codes for their soiree or light a million candles for an intimate party of two are my soul people. Sad little parties with sweatshirts and pajamas make me want to cry a little. Unless of course we’re talking silky, romantic, elegant pajamas with smoking jackets or high-heeled, feathered slippers….then count me in. I also love the idea of having a NYE where you connect with yourself. A night filled with jazzy music, reading, writing out dreams and ringing in the new year on your yoga mat. Just think how lovely it would be surrounded by candles and how wonderful you would feel on New Year’s Day.
