Are you as intrigued by a good front door as I am? When I see a door painted pink, red, green or basically any color of the rainbow, I just want to see what else that marvelous person has to offer. Do they pull that color into their home? Are they fun to have cocktails with? And if they have swoon worthy hardware on top of a beautiful paint color? Well, then they’ve won my heart.

Picking out the right hardware is tough though! You want it to be beautiful, good quality and somewhat unique. I recently went through the task of looking for a door knocker and found some beautiful options.

If you’re on a similar mission, I hope one of these enchanting door knockers tickles your fancy.

Can you guess which one I picked? If you chose the camel, you would have been right…..but it’s vintage and was already sold when I found it. The other camel knockers I found weren’t as beautiful so, I went with the peacock.

Each of these options are fun in their own way and seem made for specific front doors. I picture the peacock knocker on a deep pink door (although mine is bright yellow), the owls against deep bluish-green, the lion on a sharp black door, the camel against reddish-orange, the pinecone against a dark gray.
