When it’s the dead of winter and you’re imagining a hot summer night, what do you see? Do you see yourself outside, with the sound of children’s laughter and screams of delight echoing through the neighborhood? Do you see fireflies and white café lights? How about torches lining a walking path? For me, I can’t imagine a summer night or party without lanterns…oil lanterns, table lanterns, floor lanterns…I love them all.

Lanterns add romance and ambience to absolutely anything. Want to have a romantic dinner for two outside? Add some hurricane lanterns to the table. Want an outdoor party to feel special? Have everyone light floating lanterns. Want mood lighting during an outdoor movie session? Floor lanterns!

Also, torches and lanterns make me think of movies like The Goonies, National Treasure and The Mummy and that makes me love them even more. Below are the lanterns I’m loving this summer.
