The magnolia trees in my yard have started to bloom. They are the first sign of life each spring, blooming even before the daffodils and give me hope that warmer weather is on the way. The branches look beautiful as cuttings on my dinning table and are just perfect for an Easter tablescape.
Although spring officially starts in March, Easter feels like the true kick-off to me. It’s like a signal that it’s time to wake up and shake off the dust we’ve collected over winter. My system is revved up and I crave eggs dyed in jewel tones, colorful dresses and shoes and lightening up my décor so it feels fresh. And while I no longer get an Easter basket the Easter Bunny usually brings me some new plants for my garden, which inspires me to get out into the dirt.
And no matter your age (or religion) I think you deserve some gifts from the Easter Bunny too….here are some things I’m loving right now.
Silicon Grass Leaf Ballpoint Pens
Strawberry Salt and Pepper Shakers
Flamingo Ceramic Plates (Is it even an Enchanted Conservatory list without flamingos or giraffes?)
Here’s to happy colors, whimsical décor and that fresh spring smell.
XOXO
Veronica
