What I really want for my loved ones (and myself!) this Christmas doesn’t come in a box or from a store. It can’t be bought or bargained for. What I dream of, for each of us, is happiness in all its forms. From the giddy exciting happiness of experiencing something for the first time to the deep, heart throbbing happiness of realizing your dreams. And let’s not forget the pure happiness that comes from accepting and loving yourself just as you are or the buoyant happiness of forgiving yourself and others. These are the things I wish I could give. But while I wait for the magic to accomplish that, I’ll settle for giving love….and small tokens that show how much I appreciate them.
